NASCAR Preseason Thunder at California Speedway is just a few days away.  Fans can get an up close and personal look at the Car of Tomorrow as it runs for the first time in Southern California on January 31st and February 1st.  This will also mark the car’s first-ever, restrictor plate-free run on a 2.0 mile oval.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and the 39 other NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers will all be in one place for Preseason Thunder at California Speedway and the best part is that it’s free to all fans.  Speedway grandstands will be open to the public.  Fans who have already purchased their seat for the 2008 Auto Club 500 will get access to the Terrace Suite rooftops and anyone who hasn’t yet purchased a ticket for the West Coast Premiere of NASCAR can gain the same access with a $5 donation to the NASCAR Foundation.

Additionally, Auto Club of Southern California members will receive a special deal!  Just present your membership card when purchasing a $75 ticket to the Auto Club 500 and free receive a pre-race pit pass!
