The 6th Annual Southern California Historic Sports Car Festival returns to California Speedway, June 22nd through the 24th. This event will feature the 40th year of the Formula Ford, F1 and F5000, Historic stock cars, BOSS Super Cup/Formula 20, Can-Am/Sports racers, and GTP/IMSA/WSR cars.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
FRIDAY, JUNE 22
8.30 am Gates Open
9.00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Testing sessions (half hour each)
12:30 p.m. - 1.00 p.m. Lunch
1.00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Testing sessions (half hour each)
SATURDAY, JUNE 23
8.00 am Gates Open
8.30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Timed Practice for groups 1-8 (25 minutes each)
12:30 p.m. - 1.30 p.m. Lunch/Car Club Parade Laps
1.25 p.m. Blessing before races.
1.30 p.m. - 5:50 p.m. Qualifying races for groups 1-8 (30 minutes each)
SUNDAY, JUNE 24

8.30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. Warm ups for all groups
10.30 a.m. - 11.00 a.m. Lotus Challenge Race
11.00 a.m. - 12.30 a.m. Trophy Races
- Group 1: QMC Cranes and Services - Small Production Cars.
- Group 2: Modern Paint and Body - Formula Ford Pacific Challenge
- Group 3: William Lyon Homes - Porsche 2.0 Ltr. & larger
12:30 p.m. - 1.30 p.m. Lunch/Car Club Parade Laps and Auction Rides
1.30 p.m. - 4.00 p.m. Trophy and featured races cont. (30 minutes each):
