About Metrolink: Auto Club Speedway brings the very best to our auto racing fans, including our very own train station. You can enjoy the best auto racing anywhere in the country and avoid race day traffic congestion! You can purchase your Sunday charter train tickets at the same time you purchase your race tickets by calling 800-944-RACE or online by clicking here. Auto Club Speedway is the exclusive outlet for charter train ticket sales. All these trains are fully accessible to persons with disabilities, with restrooms and drinking fountains. Passengers are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages on the train.
Sunday Charter Train Service Direct to Auto Club Speedway Sunday charter trains will operate directly to Auto Club Speedway. These chartered trains, containing over 3,000 seats, will operate from as far away as Oxnard, Simi Valley, Oceanside, Irvine, Lancaster, Santa Clarita, Los Angeles and dozens of other stations around Southern California directly to Auto Club Speedway. Consult the list of Metrolink train stations and the Sunday Charter Train Schedule for the best station for you. All trains operate directly, without transfer, to the Auto Club Speedway train station. These charter trains depart Auto Club Speedway 1-hour after the checkered flag. Click here for Sunday schedule. Friday and Saturday Metrolink Service to Auto Club Speedway On Fridays and Saturdays of each race weekend, many regularly scheduled trains on Metrolink's San Bernardino Line may make special stops at Auto Club Speedway. The San Bernardino Line operates between San Bernardino and Los Angeles on Fridays and between Riverside-San Bernardino and Los Angeles on Saturdays. You must purchase a round trip Metrolink ticket from the ticket vending machine where you board Metrolink to "Fontana." These tickets can only be purchased on the date of travel. These tickets are not available from Auto Club Speedway. Please call (800) 371-LINK to verify train service on Friday and Saturday as well as schedule information. Answers for Your Questions
Q: Can I purchase my tickets at Auto Club Speedway on race day or use my Metrolink card?
A: Because the Sunday trains are chartered specifically for Auto Club Speedway, tickets can only be purchased in advance through the speedway's ticket office at 800-944-RACE. Auto Club Speedway will stop mailing Metrolink tickets on the Wednesday of race week. After that, all purchases must be made in person.
Q: Where is the Metrolink Station located at Auto Club Speedway?
A: The Metrolink Station at Auto Club Speedway is located along the backstretch of the speedway's oval. Guests exit the trains and head south towards the facility through Gate 4. Please see facility map for specific location.
Q: Do I have to walk from the train station to the grandstands?
A: No, Auto Club Speedway is happy to provide Guest Services Trams from the Metrolink Station and parking lots to the grandstands. The trams transport guests from Gate 56, where the tram is boarded, to either end of the grandstands (Turn 1 or Turn 4). Guests sitting in the East Grandstands (Turn 1) will be dropped off between Turns 1 and 2 at Gate 7. Infield Guests, or those sitting in the West Grandstands (Turn 4) will be dropped off near the Tunnel Entrance. Guests can re-board the trams following the race at the same location they were dropped off.
Q: Are there Services for Persons with Disabilities?
A: Yes, Metrolink trains and facilities are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Each train car is equipped with an accessible restroom and water fountain. For more information, telephone (800) 371-LINK, for hearing or speech impaired, (800) 698-4TDD. In addition, Auto Club Speedway Guest Services Trams, which take guests to and from the grandstands, are handicap accessible as well.
Q: Does Metrolink have a Lost and Found for items left on the train?
A: Metrolink and Auto Club Speedway are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings on the trains or on the platforms. However, if an item is turned in to Metrolink, it is secured at the Metrolink Information Booth in L.A. Union Station. To inquire about an item, contact the Lost and Found at (800) 371-LINK, Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If an item is turned in to Auto Club Speedway, it is held at the Auto Club Speedway administration building. To inquire about an item, contact the speedway at (909) 429-5000, Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All unclaimed items are donated to charity after 90 days.
Q: Can I take food or beverages on the trains?
A: Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be taken on the train to Auto Club Speedway. NO glass containers or alcoholic beverages may be taken on the tram. Please be aware of Auto Club Speedway's Admission and Grandstand Policies before boarding the train at your respective town, as certain items are not allowed in the facility. These items, which are not allowed in the grandstands, may not be left at or stored at the gates.
